What is Podiatry?

Podiatry is simply the newer term for Chiropody. Podiatrists are trained in the observation of many conditions that have an impact on the foot such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis to name a few. Podiatrists are also trained in best practices for preventing and managing the effects these conditions have with regards to the foot and the lower limb.

PRICE LIST

Price list -based on ' per foot and per hand' as one foot or hand at a time is placed in machine while laser light passes over it. This is the introductory offer currently available. 

One foot:     £398 for six treatments 

Two feet:      £598 for six treatments 

Hands are booked for 1 treatment initially, and then monitored as more likely less treatments will be needed in comparison to infected toenails.

I offer a unique bespoke service for problematic nails, with a medical management plan to help you in the immediate term to look aesthetically better for (as an example )an upcoming holiday or a summer wedding, utilising this fantastic LCN product as seen below, and a long term plan to permanently eradicate any nail infection with dispensing you cost effective anti fungals, regular medi -pedis and lunula laser as seen above !

  • Podiatry and Chiropody

    Including corns and callus management, ingrowing nail and infected nail treatments, fungal nail and foot treatments, verruca treatments.

  • Ingrowing toenail removal

    Nail surgery is carried out once a week from King Street Therapy Rooms, using Susol nail surgical instruments. Price includes next day follow up appointment and dressings for two months after surgery with open SOS return in case of post surgery concerns.

I am a fully qualified and insured podiatrist having worked in the NHS previously and now full time in private practice, with clinics held at King Street Therapy Rooms.

I also carry out home visits for the housebound and very elderly, who struggle to get out once a week. I can also visit people in hospital.

Covid-19

All staff at King Street Therapy Rooms wear a mask even during the easing of the rules and continue to adhere to the covid-19 guidelines. Windows remain open to keep the rooms well ventilated and strict cleaning policies continue.

We encourage clients to also continue to wear a mask and sanitise their hands upon entering and leaving the building. We also appreciate your patience when busy, when it is necessary to wait outside the building for your appointment.
